Get Your Chalk!
Did you know that the Museums & Cultural Affairs Department distributes over 7,000 pieces of chalk every year for FREE? Stop by our info tent to learn how to get your free chalk, pick up a copy of our signature coloring page, and learn more about event activities. Find us on El Paso Street!
Add Your Art:
With the exception of the competition space and other areas marked as "No Chalk Zones" attendees of all ages are welcome to fill the streets and sidewalks of our event footprint with color! Make sure you are only using washable chalk only and that your chalk art is appropriate for our family-friendly event.
Key Places to Stop:
In addition to the Chalk Art Competition, The Market, two music stages, and installations at San Jacinto Plaza, Cleveland Square Park, El Paso St., Main St., and Arts Festival Plaza, our sites offer free hands-on activities during the festival!
Don't miss the fun at:
- El Paso Museum of Art
- El Paso Museum of History
- Mexican American Cultural Center
- La Nube STEAM Discovery Center
- Main Branch Library
- Destination El Paso Downtown Visitor Information Center
