Get Your Chalk!
Did you know that the Museums & Cultural Affairs Department distributes over 7,000 pieces of chalk every year for FREE? Stop by our info tent to learn how to get your free chalk, pick up a copy of our signature coloring page, and learn more about event activities. Find us on El Paso Street!
Add Your Art:
With the exception of the competition space and other areas marked as "No Chalk Zones" attendees of all ages are welcome to fill the streets and sidewalks of our event footprint with color! Make sure you are only using washable chalk only and that your chalk art is appropriate for our family-friendly event.
Key Places to Stop:
In addition to the Chalk Art Competition and installations at San Jacinto Plaza, installations in Cleveland Square Park, on El Paso St. and Main St., and The Market at Chalk the Block off of Franklin St., our sites offer free hands-on activities during the festival!
